Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

This SPF is great if you're looking for something simple, soothing and with less active ingredients (especially considering niacinamide seems to now be in almost all SPF products).
I haven't experienced any pilling while wearing makeup, but I do recommend also considering the amount of products your using before SPF as a possible culprit if that does happen to you currently.
As a sensitive, slightly oily and acne prone skin person, my experience with this has been lovely and I definitely recommend it. The one little downside is that is sometimes stings my eyes for a second upon application. I have yet to pinpoint exactly when and why it happens but it does go away almost right away and I do have quite sensitive skin, especially around my eyes.
