How can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your SkinSort Premium membership by heading to your Account Settings and clicking the "Manage Membership" button.

Can I get a refund?

We offer a 30 day refund policy to help make sure that you're happy with Premium.

If your Premium purchase was within the last 30 days, and you'd like a refund - please send us an email ([email protected]). We're happy to send you a refund, no hard feelings :)

If your Premium purchase was more than 30 days ago, you can cancel your subscription so that you're not charged again via your Account Settings.

Please do not initiate a chargeback/dispute with your card processor. Fraudulent chargebacks are harmful to small businesses like ours, and we work hard to provide all evidence that is required to fight the dispute.

If you believe you were incorrectly charged by SkinSort, please send us an email and we'll issue a refund.

How can I add a missing product?

We've tried to add as many products as possible to SkinSort, but we rely on our community to help us with ones that we've missed!

You can submit new products with a SkinSort account.

How can I add a missing brand?

We're always looking to add new brands to SkinSort!

If you're a skincare brand who wants to bulk upload your products to SkinSort, please get in touch with us by emailing [email protected].

I've spotted an error with a product's data!

We are always working to fix any errors in our product data! Please send what you've found to [email protected] and we'll get it fixed ASAP.

We really appreciate any error reports!

How do you determine what a product is good and bad for?

We've read a ton of peer-reviewed studies to select the ingredients that our algorithms assign attributes based on.

When we add a new product to our database, our algorithms scan it's ingredients to determine all of its attributes. If you think you've spotted an error with the ingredients we use to categorize certain things, feel free to get in touch!

How do you determine if a brand is cruelty free?

We use two sources: Leaping Bunny, which is the only international symbol for cruelty-free products. Our second source was Suzana Rose from Cruelty-Free Kitty's complete list of Cruelty-Free brands.

Both sources have conducted research to ensure brands are not being listed as cruelty-free through loopholes and thus have stringent standards.

Ingredient Database

I can't seem to find X ingredient

Our Ingredient Database has tens of thousands of skincare ingredients, but it's impossible for us to track every single one out there! If you think we're missing an ingredient, please let us know: [email protected]

It's also possible that the ingredient is listed under a different name. Our matching algorithms do their best to handle this (for example, Aqua and Water should be marked as the same ingredient), but there's always a chance that we missed it. Anyways, let us know and we'll get back to you!


What happens when I publish my routine or shelf?

Publishing your skincare routine or product shelf will display it on our community page.

Other SkinSort users will be able to view, comment, and like what you've posted. This is a great way to recieve feedback on your routine!

How can I share a link to my routine or shelf?

We've tried to make it as simple as possible to share routines and shelves that you create on our site.

Simply view the routine (or shelf) that you want to share, and copy the 'Shareable Link' that is visible near the top of the page.

Shareable links are a permenant way to access a shelf - so you can even link to them in your blog posts or comments you write on other sites.


How can I insert your ingredient lists on my site?

We've made it easy to insert any products ingredients directly into your website.

Why should I create an account?

Creating an account on SkinSort allows you to create multiple routines and product shelves, as well as like and dislike specific ingredients.

Your account also lets you write product reviews, publish your routines/shelves to the SkinSort community, and to write comments on items that other users publish.

Is it free to create an account?

Yep! Creating an account is completely free.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account by clicking 'Edit Details' on your profile and scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

Account deletion is permenant - we will delete any data associated with your account, and it cannot be undone.

Let us know if there's anything we can do to improve your SkinSort experience before you delete your account!


Do you sell my data?

No, we do not sell your data.

We take your privacy seriously, and are committed to protecting it. We do not share, sell, or rent your user data to any third-party companies or advertisers.

Any data we collect from users is used solely for the purpose of improving our services and providing a better user experience.
