Phenoxyethanol is a preservative that has germicide, antimicrobial, and aromatic properties. Studies show that phenoxyethanol can prevent microbial growth. By itself, it has a scent that is similar to that of a rose.
Propylene Glycol is an odorless, colorless liquid. As a humectant, it helps skin retain moisture. It also aids in delivering active ingredients.

(Using Since Oct 2022) This is truly the only sunscreen that ticked off all the boxes for me. Affordable for the amount of product, High SPF value, UVB and UVA protection, doubles as a dewy, moisturizer (so no need to apply a separate sunscreen and moisturizer) and best of all NO White Cast!!! (I legit searched for months to find a moisturizing sunscreen that didn't make me look ashy). There is a standard BGS product that is marketed, both have similar ingredients, but the downside is that the SPF is lower than this and it costs a bit more for less product
