Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterXanthan gum is used as a stabilizer and thickener within cosmetic products. It helps give products a sticky, thick feeling - preventing them from being too runny.
On the technical side of things, xanthan gum is a polysaccharide - a combination consisting of multiple sugar molecules bonded together.
Xanthan gum is a pretty common and great ingredient. It is a natural, non-toxic, non-irritating ingredient that is also commonly used in food products.
Learn more about Xanthan GumCaprylic/Capric Triglyceride is an emollient, solvent, and texture enhancer. It is considered a skin-softener by helping the skin prevent moisture loss.
Within a product, Caprylic Triglyceride can thicken the product and make spreadability easier by dissolving clumping compounds. An added benefit of Caprylic Triglyceride is its antioxidant properties.
Caprylic Triglyceride is made by combining glycerin with coconut oil, forming a clear liquid. Caprylic Triglyceride has not been found to be toxic for human use in concentrations under 50%.
While there is an assumption Caprylic Triglyceride can clog pores due to it being derived from coconut oil, there is no research supporting this.

Love!
Doesn’t pill, no white cast and non greasy formulation. What more can you ask for. Decently priced.

This sunscreen could be great. It’s not oily and it’s one of the only sunscreens that’s I’ve used that doesn’t make me oily and it holds well at work because my skin is still matte by the end of my shift (I don’t care for that “glow” that some brands advertise because it just makes my oily skin look OILY). The only problem I had was that this sunscreen does pill from time to time and that is the only deal breaker for me. I’d use it again if I was in dire need of spf though.

I’ve been using this for a week now on sensitive and reactive skin. So far I’ve had no bad response, no irritation or breaking out. I now use it only at night because it is slightly sticks and takes a while to absorb. I believe some results are there - dark marks slowly fading.
(I am trying this to compare with Skin1004 tone brightening capsule ampoule - which I really like and used to use morning and night).
I will update again after a couple of weeks

I'm very pleased with the results of this product. Within 2 weeks, it was able to remove most of the stubborn dark spots/scaring that was on my temple area. Despite having fragrance in the formulation, I actually didn't notice any irritation or breaking out after using it. It's nice that the product isn't too expensive either (Roughly $20 on Amazon when I purchased at the time) I also find the color of the product to be aesthetically pleasing!
