It's not the most hydrating sunscreen I've ever used and its texture is reminiscent of a slightly thick serum or an emulsion. It feels good on my skin and did not break me out. No white cast whatsoever, didn't require any blending in, and applied without a tacky finish. Stung my face
I wanted to love it because so many people are praising it, but it just wasn't for me. I don't why, but it stung my face, and I'm not sure which ingredient is causing it (I don't have sensitive skin, but I used it alongside BoJ ginseng essence and iUnik centella calming gel cream in the morning, maybe the ingredients in the products react w each other?). Etude House Sunprise Mild Watery Light SPF50+/PA+++ 53 ingredients
This gave me a terrible white cast, it had me looking like a piece of paper. No amount of rubbing it in got rid of it. It also melts off your skin when you sweat, which can be visibly seen because the white cast is so noticeable. It is supposed to leave a matte finish, but I look ashy and dry instead. It also has a weird smell.
I'm on the paler side so the white cast was not an issue for me. If anything it helped even out my skin tone. I used to love to this product since it is lightweight and it didn't really feel like I had sunscreen on, but it randomly triggered what looks like fungal acne all over my forehead. Super sad that I can't use this anymore.
