Shea butter is rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants help fight free-radicals, or molecules that may harm the body. It is also full of fatty acids including stearic acid and linoleic acid. These acids help replenish the skin and keep skin moisturized.
While Shea Butter has an SPF rating of about 3-4, it is not a sunscreen replacement.

It's a lovely thin oil-gel lip balm that's very soothing to severely dry & rough lips. Very reminiscent of the famous Biossance lip balm, although the Biossance is a thicker product.
However it's not occlusive enough to be a lip mask, or to last overnight. So that's a fail, sadly.
It quickly soaks into the lips & disappears. I have to put a beeswax product over it to get even an hour of Show more

It works, but not well enough to justify the price point. Overrated, it is mediocre at best
I used to love this and it did feel nice on the lips, but it’s gotten crazy expensive that it’s just not worth it anymore which is sad cause it’s a nice product.
