Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Vp Copolymer (let's call it AAVC for short) is a synthetically created polymer. It's used as a film-forming agent and used to thicken the consistency of products.
AAVC is able to increase the consistency and viscosity of products due to its large molecule size. It also prevents ingredients from separating.
Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid is a form of hyaluronic acid. It is created by the hydrolysis of hyaluronic acid with a high molecular weight. Once created, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid has a low molecular weight.
Low molecular weight HA has been shown to hydrate and increase elasticity of the skin. Increasing elasticity is also associated with reduction of wrinkle depth.
One study found topical low molecular weight hyaluronic acid may be considered for the treatment of rosacea in the adult population. However, we always recommend speaking with a professional about your skin concerns.
Hyaluronic acids are a humectant. This means they draw moisture from the air. Hyaluronic acids help moisturize, soothe, and protect the skin.

Overall, Butylene Glycol is a safe and well-rounded ingredient that works well with other ingredients.
Though this ingredient works well with most skin types, some people with sensitive skin may experience a reaction such as allergic rashes, closed comedones, or itchiness.

Disodium EDTA plays a role in making products more stable by aiding other preservatives.
It is a chelating agent, meaning it neutralizes metal ions that may be found in a product.
Disodium EDTA is a salt of edetic acid and is found to be safe in cosmetic ingredients.

The antioxidant properties from blueberries come from its polyphenolic and vitamin C content. Polyphenols are a compound famous for their antioxidant properties and are commonly found in fruits.

I’ve been wanting to try Numbuzin for a while, and this cream looked like the perfect fit for my sensitive, hormonal acne prone skin. While it’s not fungal acne safe, this moisturizer doesn’t have dimethicone until the 12th ingredient, and I haven’t found any issues with it so far. If you’re super duper mega oily and live in hot, humid weather, then this toner is definitely for you. It’s incredibly effective in terms of oil control. I have combination skin, and this toner really helps manage the oiliness in my T-zone.
It’s doing such a great job at oil control that even my cheeks, which aren’t oily, ended up feeling dry. Clearly, it’s really effective at controlling oil.
This brown liquid is so golden! It keeps my skin pretty matte/satin-ish all day. I live in Florida, so its always humid and hot for the most part and with my combo skin, I tend to have a shinier t-zone daily. So once I started to realize that my t-zone wasnt looking overly shiny after a few days after first use I checked the bottle again and saw that it has sebum control. Love!
