Tromethamine helps balance the pH and improve the texture of a product. It is synthetically created.
As an emulsifier, Tromethamine prevents oil and water ingredients from separating. This helps stabilize the product and elongate a product's shelf life. Tromethamine also makes a product thicker.

I started this when my skin in summer 2023 when I had a severely damaged skin barrier. In the fall as the weather changed I combined it with Purito Dermide. (I stopped using it in the winter and used Purito Dermide only.) Now in the late spring I am using it again in my morning routine. It is light, soothing, helps with redness, brightens my skin and a great product.
UPDATED REVIEW: unfortunately, this eventually started to break me out. I suspect butylene glycol and squalane being high in concentration is what gave me trouble. I have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin though, so I still stand by Purito as a brand and this particular product, it’s just not for me… *cries* I love how it made my skin glow aside from the breakouts. I absolutely love this sunscreen! It is really runny so at first it looks like your face is really wet, but I find it absorbs within a few minutes and looks quite natural when it dries. I have oily skin and it doesn’t make me feel greasy or look shiny, which is what I’ve spent ages looking for in a sunscreen! It just makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated. Very lightweight SPF which leaves no white cast. I am dry but acne prone and I have not had any breakouts from this. Would recommend!
