Tocopherol (also known as Vitamin E) is a common antioxidant used to help protect the skin from free-radicals and strengthen the skin barrier. It's also fat soluble - this means our skin is great at absorbing it.

Vitamin E also helps keep your natural skin lipids healthy. Your lipid skin barrier naturally consists of lipids, ceramides, and fatty acids. Vitamin E offers extra protection for your skin’s lipid barrier, keeping your skin healthy and nourished.

Another benefit is a bit of UV protection. Vitamin E helps reduce the damage caused by UVB rays. (It should not replace your sunscreen). Combining it with Vitamin C can decrease sunburned cells and hyperpigmentation after UV exposure.

You might have noticed Vitamin E + C often paired together. This is because it is great at stabilizing Vitamin C. Using the two together helps increase the effectiveness of both ingredients.

There are often claims that Vitamin E can reduce/prevent scarring, but these claims haven't been confirmed by scientific research.

I had high hopes for it since everyone says it's for sensitive irritated skin. Idk if it's the new formula. That's the first cosmetic product I have allergic reaction to. 10 min after I applied it I got a strong metallic taste on the tip of my tongue(nope I didn't lick my skin!). I tried to ignore it and apply again the next day. And I did the next day, got the same reaction. After I woke up my face was covered in big red patches, swollen.
Why it has alluminium? It gives you no benefit. I suspect it. They should really change the formula - Dimethicone is the third ingredient. Some cheap Korean creams have better formula.
If you have dry skin it may work for you and you might tolerate it. I just share my experience.

The product feels great, but always ends up leaving a white cast and eventually pilling. This happens for both face and hand/body application.

Because I have dry, sensitive skin, and due to all the ads, I thought this would be my favorite cream. However, this cream caused me the biggest breakout ever. I got cystic acne, fungal acne, and it clogged pores. I wouldn’t recommend it for those with acne-prone skin. Maybe it’s good for others, but that’s just my opinion on the product. If it works for you, keep using it.
