Studies show Cetearyl alcohol is non-toxic and non-irritating. The FDA allows products labeled "alcohol-free" to have fatty alcohols.
This ingredient is usually derived from plant oils such as palm, vegetable, or coconut oils. There is debate on whether this ingredient will cause acne.
Due to the fatty acid base, this ingredient may not be Malassezia folliculitis safe.

I received it as a test. It’s too thick/buttery for my needs. Would need ages to put it over my body. I can only imagine the mess with the original packaging. Also, I think the test package suppose to last few applications… it was hardly enough for two legs. My guess is that it’s not only expensive but also gone very fast. i loooove this product. it was one of the first and (expensive) products i bought for myself when i was like 13. It smells good and feels good. Lasts forever.
