Glycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.

A study from 2016 found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid.

As a humectant, it helps the skin stay hydrated by pulling moisture to your skin. The low molecular weight of glycerin allows it to pull moisture into the deeper layers of your skin.

Hydrated skin improves your skin barrier; Your skin barrier helps protect against irritants and bacteria.

Glycerin has also been found to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Due to these properties, glycerin is often used in wound and burn treatments.

In cosmetics, glycerin is usually derived from plants such as soybean or palm. However, it can also be sourced from animals, such as tallow or animal fat.

This ingredient is organic, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic.

Glycerin is the name for this ingredient in American English. British English uses Glycerol/Glycerine.

Didn't notice any difference
My bottle lasted for probably 3~4 months I think? And I really didn't notice any difference... It's not hydrating enough and it didn't help with puffiness at all.

Burned my eye area and was very irritating
I’ve tried lots of products for my eyes some with luck in improvement and some not. So I’m always trying something new. I’ve never had sensitivity or issues with any eye cream or treatment before. This one though burned so bad. It burned the skin so much so sometimes my eyes watered from the irritation, and it never got in my eyes. It made my eyes look worse actually because it irritated the eye area so much. I’d read such good reviews and thought it would make a huge difference but wasn’t prepared for the irritation. I’m not sure if the caffeine does it or what because it’s the only product with caffeine I’ve ever used. And I tried it for a couple weeks thinking maybe it’s normal or will get better. At first I didn’t know what was causing it just thought maybe my eyes were irritated but realized when I stopped using this I never had any issues with my eye area burning. Sadly disappointed

Unfortunately it didn't work for me.
I was very happy with the glow that this product gives the eye area, however, after a few weeks of use it dried out my skin a lot.
