Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate is a surfactant and emulsifier.

This ingredient is a tetraester from oleic acid and polyethylene glycol ether of sorbitol.

As an emulsifier, it helps ingredients such as oil and water mix together. This allows the dirt and oils in your skin to be washed away.

One study found pumpkin oil containing Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate helped hydrate the skin and did not cause any irritation.

Horribly comedogenic, with an absolutely awful feeling texture. The 2nd most prominent ingredient in this is an oil that sits at the higher end of the comedogenic scale, so the oil that's supposed to be helping to clear your pores is likely to make them clog. It's also so thick that it's difficult to emulsify entirely, which leads to an increased likelihood of it staying on your skin and wrecking Show more

Oh my word. So, 3 nights of using this stuff, and my pores look a lot less noticeable. I thought I was using it wrong because I wasn't seeing the gritty pieces that people were showing on social media with cleansing oils, but sure enough, my pores look cleaner and less noticeable after just 3 nights! I was worried it was going to break me out but it didn't. It emulsifies well and it cleans off Show more

I actually found this cleansing oil to be very refreshing! The scent wasn't overwhelming and quite pleasant. I thought it did a thorough job w/ removing makeup and sunscreen. It was also fairly easy to rinse off with water. This product is a great value for the amount that you receive. I bought this bottle back in July and I'm just now getting through it. This is another win with Round Lab for me!
