Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Humectant, Skin Conditioning

Zinc PCA (or "zinc salt") differs slightly from zinc itself. PCA stands for pyrrolidone carboxylic acid. However, Zinc PCA comes from zinc.

It can help reduce redness, regulate sebum, and promote the general healing process of the skin.

Zinc PCA tends to be especially useful for those with oily, acne-prone skin. It's certainly an ingredient worth trying out!

Preservative

Phenoxyethanol is a preservative that has germicide, antimicrobial, and aromatic properties. Studies show that phenoxyethanol can prevent microbial growth. By itself, it has a scent that is similar to that of a rose.

It's often used in formulations along with Caprylyl Glycol to preserve the shelf life of products.

I love this product I used it the next day after I’ve picked my skin and/or my skin is dry, irritated, or broken out. I use it everyday mostly, twice a day as instructed, but the one downside is it goes fast. It’s hard to tell exactly how many spritzes you need and I usually run out after 2.5 weeks because it’s also such a small bottle. But if the price isn’t an issue, I’d say keep buying it if Show more

My skin used to have more acne last time. At that time I notice this essence really help to calm down my skin and make the acne go away faster. I have finished a few bottles now before I review.
