Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterAzelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid derived from grains. This ingredient is effective in treating acne, rosacea, and other skin conditions.
It has been shown to reduce the growth of acne-causing bacteria and helps reduce inflammation. On top of that, it helps reduce the production of sebum and unclog pores.
Azelaic Acid also has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants protect our skin cells from free-radical damage.
One of the main benefits of azelaic acid is that it is gentle and well-tolerated by most people.
Fun fact: The lab-created form of azelaic acid is typically used within cosmetic products for its shelf-stability.
Learn more about Azelaic AcidPropanediol helps absorb ingredients into your skin, boosting their benefits. It can act as an emollient, making your skin softer. Propanediol can help products last longer by boosting the properties of preservatives within the formulation.
Propanediol is not likely to cause sensitivity and considered safe to use.
It is derived from corn or petroleum with a clear color and no scent.
Learn more about PropanediolDipropylene Glycol is a synthetically created stabilizer and solvent. It is a part of the glycol class in the alcohol family.
Dipropylene Glycol helps dissolve and evenly distribute ingredients. It also helps decrease viscosity and thin out texture.
As a masking agent, Dipropylene Glycol can be used to cover the smell of other ingredients. However, it does not have a scent.
Studies show Dipropylene Glycol is considered safe to use in skincare.
Learn more about Dipropylene GlycolCaprylyl Glycol is a humectant and emollient, meaning it attracts and preserves moisture.
It is a common ingredient in many products, especially those designed to hydrate skin. The primary benefits are retaining moisture, skin softening, and promoting a healthy skin barrier.
Though Caprylyl Glycol is an alcohol derived from fatty acids, it is not the kind that can dry out skin.
This ingredient is also used as a preservative to extend the life of products. It has slight antimicrobial properties.

One of my favorite products. If you're looking for an Azelaic Acid treatment, this is the right choice. It has the highest concentration you would find on an over-the-counter product (15%), combined with Ceramides and other soothing ingredients that will calm your skin and redness. Aside from rosacea, you can also use it for acne because it will soothe your breakouts and help fading the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Is a very lightweight formula that gets absorbed super easy and rarely pills, so you won't find it hard to combine it with other products on your routine. The only thing that I can complain about is the smell, it reminds me of some old cheese, but I don't mind it since it's very subtle and the serum has an amazing performance.

Theramid's AZID Azelaic Acid Treatment is indeed as good as the reviews praise it. The vegan and cruelty-free serum contains a whopping 15% concentration of azelaic acid, five different types of ceramides, and avena sativa/collodial oatmeal. It can be used to target several concerns - I particularly use it to combat my hyperpigmentation and rosacea flare-ups. The lightweight serum absorbs quickly and hasn’t pilled with my skincare so far. I've been using it for some time and will continue to do so.
However, I can only rate it 4 stars. Since the last formula change, the smell has become unpleasant - reminding me of vomit or other digestive fluids. It’s strong enough that I actually stop breathing through my nose when applying it, lol. If this ever changes again, I’ll gladly upgrade my rating. Despite this, it’s still an amazing serum with impressive results.

Best Azelaic Acid product I've tried
I was struggling to use Azelaic Acid on my skin and this was the product that worked the best. It has the effectiveness of a 10% concentration in a formulation rich in soothing ingredients like panthenol and centella. All the irritation I was having with azelaic acid disappeared and now it has become one of my stapple ingredients. My only issue with peach slices is that I don't live in the US and I need to pay import taxes over a product that at baseline is not very cheap. If you live in the US, I would recommend highly this product.
