I'm sensitive so I can't use salycilic acid, but betaine salicylate I can use because it's a gentler version. I've used this now for around a month to decongest my pores and it works, I still have some on my cheeks but pores around my nose&forehead got cleaned out.
It's FA safe and didn't break me out. Very hydrating. No alcohol, no fragrance.

I only use this toner in the evening every other day, alternating with benzoyl peroxide (BP). My skin gets red and irritated easily, and as much as BP helps with acne, it doesn't help with the former. I use this every 5 days as the only exfoliating product in my routine and she just wipes any closed comedones, sebaceous filaments, clogged pores etc right off. I've tried both Paula's Choice and Isntree's BHA toners and I find that for my sensitive but acne prone skin this Anua one is far superior. It doesn't have as much of a sticky feeling as the other two (but still some) and also didn't dehydrate or sensitise my skin as much, while still drastically improving my blackheads and acne bumps.
