Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterMenthol is a compound found in mint plants, such as peppermint. In its pure form, it is a clear crystalline substance.
Menthol is known for its cooling sensation; however, the cooling is actually from your skin being sensitized. Menthol can worsen rosacea. We recommend speaking with a professional if you have concerns.
Menthol also has antimicrobial properties.

Love it!
It keeps my outbreaks under control.
Even though I have dehydrated skin, it does not strip my skin from its moisture.

May be good for someone but not for me. The cream cleanser is thick and spreads really nicely and it does have a tingly sensation afterwards that feels like clean and fresh. My skin overall is dry, however my face is oilier and more along the lines of normal to combination sensitive skin, like very sensitive. This product does contain Salicylic Acid but with no percentage listed. The tingly sensation most likely comes from the Menthol (which is a common ingredient in a LOT of skincare products), which while is Good for Oily Skin, it is can be BAD for sensitive skin, dry skin, and may worsen Rosacea as well as cause irritation. Just because it wasn't great for me, doesn't mean it won't be useful to someone else. 3 Stars.
