However, some modern formulations (looking at you, EU!) are able to stabilize avobenzone by coating the molecules.
Avobenzone does not protect against the UV-B range, so it's important to check that the sunscreen you're using contains other UV filters that do!
The highest concentration of avobenzone permitted is 3% in the US, and 5% in the EU.

This sunscreen has a very effective filter and a patented one that protects you from blue light. In my opinion, I like how it leaves the skin a little bit pale, because I have very light skin and other sunscreen makes my appearance yellowish or brownish. It doesn't clog pores and it is very resistant if you are using it while you are doing sports or going to the beach. HOWEVER i find that it feels like it burns sometimes when you apply it. In the marketing of the product says that is for very sensitive skin (for kids) and this is completely unnaceptable. It cant burnt while you are saying thi is suitable for very sensitive skin. For me this is very important.

This sunscreen could be great. It’s not oily and it’s one of the only sunscreens that’s I’ve used that doesn’t make me oily and it holds well at work because my skin is still matte by the end of my shift (I don’t care for that “glow” that some brands advertise because it just makes my oily skin look OILY). The only problem I had was that this sunscreen does pill from time to time and that is the only deal breaker for me. I’d use it again if I was in dire need of spf though.
