Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Butyloctyl Salicylate is similar to octisalate. It a photostabilizer, SPF booster, emollient and solvent. Its main purpose is to evenly spread out ingredients.
This ingredient is a common sunscreen ingredient carrier and photostabilizer. According to a manufacturer, it is suitable for carrying micro Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, and pigments.
Photostabilizers help stabilize UV-filters and prevents them from degrading quickly.
Due to regulation loopholes, this ingredient is not required to be labeled as an active chemical filter like other UV ingredients. This is why you'll likely find this ingredient in mineral sunscreens from the US.
According to EU regulation, this ingredient can cause harmful effects to aquatic life.

Lightweight, does well with sun protection! Initially I was skeptical of if the silicones would clog my acne-prone skin’s pores, but it hasn’t broken me out at all. In fact, sometimes when I rub it in, I get sebaceous filaments on my hands as residue! So in my case it’s provided some kind of exfoliation. I’ve only used this product in the winter but I’m certain it’s just as effective in warmer Show more

This mineral sunscreen in cushion form is ideally suited for travel, featuring a lovely design with a built-in mirror and an application pad. Despite these features, it presents some drawbacks: the sunscreen doesn't absorb well and leaves a white cast. Over time, it also no longer closed well and occasionally popped open.
bad for touching up it separates my makeup and has a big white cast but its good for a no makeup day and evens out my skin tone a little bec of that white cast
i like the packaging
