Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Ethylhexylglycerin (we can't pronounce this either) is commonly used as a preservative and skin softener. It is derived from glyceryl.
You might see Ethylhexylglycerin often paired with other preservatives such as phenoxyethanol. Ethylhexylglycerin has been found to increase the effectiveness of these other preservatives.
Lumene Radiance Boosting Cleansing Foam contains this as ingredient number 18.
Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil contains this as ingredient number 13.
Parfum is a catch-all term for an ingredient or more that is used to give aroma to products. Parfum, or fragrance, can be a blend of hundreds of chemicals or plant oils. This means every product with "fragrance" or "Parfum" in the ingredients list is a different mixture.
In the US, the alternative name for parfum is 'fragrance'. The term 'fragrance' is not regulated in many countries. In many cases, it is up to the brand to define this term.
For instance, many brands choose to label themselves as "fragrance-free" because they are not using synthetic fragrances. However, their products may still contain ingredients such as essential oils that are considered a fragrance. One example is Calendula flower extract. Essential oil ingredients still impart a scent or 'fragrance'.
Depending on the blend, it can cause allergies and sensitivities on the skin. Some ingredients that are known EU allergens include linalool and citronellol.
Products use parfum often to give products a scent or cover up smells of different ingredients.
The bottom line is: not all fragrances/parfum/ingredients are created equally. If you are worried about fragrances, we recommend taking a closer look at an ingredient. And of course, we always recommend speaking with a professional.

I want to like this because I love the toner but it’s just too harsh on my skin (sensative + excema) it was pulling out lots but not the filaments on my nose, and I’m now trying to recover from a very upset and bumpy face. Just not for me

Man I love this Anua oil cleanser, it literally pulls out the gunk of sebaceous filaments, bacteria and dead skin cells from my face when I rub it in for 10 minutes. DO NOT EVER USE THIS AND NOT FOLLOW UP WITH A WATER CLEANSER AFTERWARDS. People always complain this makes them break out but are not double cleansing however I do naturally have oily skin so it’s a match made in heaven but just be wary if you have extremely sensitive skin get a sample first (AND DOUBLE CLEANSE FOR ALL YOUR OIL CLEANSERS!!). It’s a 10/10 I mean LOOK at the residue it pulled off my face in the photo. 1 bottle lasts about 5 months, mine lasted me from late October and it’s still not finished now (it’s late February), I used it twice a day with two pumps for the first 2 months and now I use it once a day in the PM with two pumps and I have a little bit left that will most likely say for another 3 weeks, so yeah I’d say it lasts for 5 months. It adds a lovely fullness to my skin but please consider it was my first one so I must admit I’m slightly biased, I don’t want to purchase another oil cleanser because I’m happy with it. Seriously it’s so good I don’t even want to try others. It does the job perfectly, I’m not sure if other oil cleansers can suck out the bacteria from skin like this so I don’t even want to risk it. It’s perfect for me especially since I travel in London Underground and the air is contaminated there, that’s when the nastiest stuff comes out of my pores.
