Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Skin Conditioning, Solvent

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

Skin Conditioning, Skin Protecting, Soothing

Allantoin plays a role in soothing and moisturizing the skin. Because of this, it is often added to products with strong active ingredients.

Some studies have shown this ingredient can promote wound healing with higher concentrations.

Allantoin is derived from the comfrey plant but produced synthetically for cosmetic products to ensure purity.

Best Azelaic Acid product I've tried
I was struggling to use Azelaic Acid on my skin and this was the product that worked the best. It has the effectiveness of a 10% concentration in a formulation rich in soothing ingredients like panthenol and centella. All the irritation I was having with azelaic acid disappeared and now it has become one of my stapple ingredients. My only issue with peach Show more

I've tried to use this cleanser twice. The first time it caused an allergic reaction under my eyes that took about a week to clear up. The second time I avoided using it on the eye area but it broke me out in small pimples across my forehead and cheeks instead. I think I know the reason for my skin reacting this way. The cleanser contains allergens and is too fragranced.
