Panthenol is a common ingredient that helps hydrate and soothe the skin. It is found naturally in our skin and hair.
There are two forms of panthenol: D and L.
D-panthenol is also known as dexpanthenol. Most cosmetics use dexpanthenol or a mixture of D and L-panthenol.
Panthenol is famous due to its ability to go deeper into the skin's layers. Using this ingredient has numerous pros (and no cons):
Like hyaluronic acid, panthenol is a humectant. Humectants are able to bind and hold large amounts of water to keep skin hydrated.
This ingredient works well for wound healing. It works by increasing tissue in the wound and helps close open wounds.
Once oxidized, panthenol converts to pantothenic acid. Panthothenic acid is found in all living cells.
This ingredient is also referred to as pro-vitamin B5.

I really like this toner, it’s definitely one of my favourites and I prefer not to be without it. I’ve repurchased it a couple of times now and it always does the job well and hydrates my skin very nicely! You don’t really need much of it, a little goes a long way, but it can also be applied in layers without being sticky or heavy. PURITO Centella Unscented Toner 19 ingredients
I really liked this toner it seemed like a toner/serum like toner. It was great for my skin . My skin felt hydrated after using it and after my serums and creams would always feel better after using this toner. I would recommend for combination sensitive dry skin. It calms your skin as well. It’s so good.
Very light and soothing, it reduces a little bit of my redness. But remember toners are just toners so don’t expect much results 😅
