Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterGlycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.
A study from 2016 found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid.
As a humectant, it helps the skin stay hydrated by pulling moisture to your skin. The low molecular weight of glycerin allows it to pull moisture into the deeper layers of your skin.
Hydrated skin improves your skin barrier; Your skin barrier helps protect against irritants and bacteria.
Glycerin has also been found to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Due to these properties, glycerin is often used in wound and burn treatments.
In cosmetics, glycerin is usually derived from plants such as soybean or palm. However, it can also be sourced from animals, such as tallow or animal fat.
This ingredient is organic, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic.
Glycerin is the name for this ingredient in American English. British English uses Glycerol/Glycerine.

This was one of the first cleansers i purchased when i decided to get serious about my skincare game and i initially used it as my second cleanser after using an oil cleanser from a different brand. (Had issues with said oil cleanser and its use was short lived) But for a couple months afterward, I continued on using this as the only cleanser in my routine for both AM & PM.
The directions of use said to use 2-3 pumps, but I found that it would almost immediately seep/absorb into my skin; I'd continually have to use a lot more product than recommended in order to get a decent coverage to actually cleanse my face. Even with that it didnt really feel like it cleaned my skin all that well either and didn't do a lot for general clogged spots and dirt. I also found that whenever i would rinse it off, it felt like a film was left on my face that i could never really properly rid of; no matter how thorough i was in trying to wash it all off.
I think it comes down to partly being the wrong product for me, but also having a super absorbent formula that can be difficult to work with as a cleanser. This may work really well for people who have sensitive dry skin with moisture absorption problems, Heck I'd even recommend it for people with those skin types/concerns! But for combination sensitive skin? i wouldn't suggest it. It doesn't do enough on the cleansing factor,(albeit rather gentle for some maybe but not in my experience) can add an unnecessary layer on top of oily skin & some may find the smell to also be Icky. It's scent is certainly...something, that's for sure.
I know this is a lengthy review from someone who's skin [unknowingly at the time] isn't suited for this product, but Someone out there with sensitive + combo or oily skin types may find it helpful when looking for a gentle cleanser. I hope this helps! :)

ITS SO MOISTURIZING.
For my might routine, i use this as my second cleanser and this cleanser acts as a compensate for the hydration ive lost throughout the day.
I have dry dry skin, and my skincare has creams , anything thick to hold my skin together.
What i noticed using this is that this cleanser is like a cream. It doesnt really emulsify until you add a bit more which is best for me, it felt almost like moisturizer.
THE SCENT IS SO STRONG IT HIT ME IN MY FACE BEWARE. SCENTLESS VER IS ON AMAZON
