I heard some reviews that this product might be better than the Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner, and had better brightening effects, however personally I think I have fairly sensitive skin and the ferment ingredient in this product was too strong and caused me to get closed comedones almost immediately which resulted in a cystic acne breakout for me. I did notice better brightening effects in various areas of my face but unfortunately this product just didn't work for me.

i got the small size from this essence as a sample not too long ago (probably 2 weeks) and have used it up tonight and can give an actual opinion on it. i'm liking this essence very much!! it's my first rovectin product and i'm positively suprised of this magical product. with a thicker viscosity and not really water like consistence, it felt super hydrating. my skin was really dewy and looked really good under makeup and layered well with my toners, serums and other skincare products. there was so greasy or oily residue or layer on my skin and didn't freak my skin out. i dunno if i'm just gaslighting myself into thinking this, but it helped with evening my skin texture and post pimple marks which had me shocked in a way. overall, i can say that this product is amazing and good for any skintype and skin concern to hydrate it well. i will try to get my hands on this once i see it being on sale or being sold for a good price!! i would give this product 4.4 out of 5 stars
