Slow and steady

Absolute holy grail status. Not a particularly sexy and won't work over night but having used it for a couple years now it has helped significantly with making my skin smooth and giving it beautiful texture as well as with lightening hyperpigmentation. This is one I'll never stop using.

10% is way to high

I wanted to try this product because of the hype it have received. It broke me out even more and I still have scars from that. I started doing research and found out that the levels where they tested niacinamide was only up to 5% above that will have reverse effect than what it claims on the skin in the long run. I recommend people watching Shereene Idriss on youtube for more information about this subject. Together we will be more educated.

Skincare Holy Grail!

This serum from The Ordinary is my favorite of all-time! My routine is never complete without it. I have been using this product for 3 months now, and it’s really balanced my uneven complexion, got rid of most of my dark/spots and has lightened my acne scars. I got this as an alternative to my Curology treatment because it was way too expensive. For the first couple of weeks using this, I didn’t see any results. But after about a month or so my skin started to change. Before I bought this serum, I had extremely bad acne and very textured skin. I can definitely say that after buying this product, my skin is so smooth! It also doesn’t leave a greasy-feel after application, it’s like it immediately absorbs into your skin. For those who have a similar skin type, I’d 100% recommend this product (and this brand).

It hydrates my skin and I feel it gives it a glow. Definitely has helped with hyperpigmentation from acne scars for me. Can feel it bit sticky straight after application but it passes.

Really helps my skin!

I've been using this product for nearly two years now, and it has really done wonders for my skin!

I apply it in the evenings, just before moisturizing. I find that it really helps reduce redness and PIH.

The zinc in the product helps reduce acne as well, I've found.
