Zinc Oxide is a mineral broad-spectrum UV filter; it is the broadest UVA and UVB reflector approved by the FDA. While it is most commonly man-made for cosmetics, it can naturally occur in zincite, a rare mineral.
2 Concerns
Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate is an organic compound that provides UVB protection. It often goes by the more common name of octinoxate. It is created from methoxycinnamic acid and 2-ethylhexanol.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
Cyclopentasiloxane is a silicone used to improve texture and trap moisture. An easier name for this is D5.

Niacinamide has emerged as an all-star ingredient due to its many benefits.
Oleth-3 Phosphate is created from phosphoric acid and Oleth-3.
This is a synthetic polymer. It helps improve the texture of products by adding thickness and gel-like feel.

Antioxidant Helps brighten skin
Tocopheryl Acetate is AKA Vitamin E. It is an antioxidant and protects your skin from free radicals. Free radicals damage the skin by breaking down collagen.
Sodium Hyaluronate is hyaluronic acid's salt form. It is commonly derived from the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid.
Disodium EDTA plays a role in making products more stable by aiding other preservatives.
Sodium Hydroxide is also known as lye or caustic soda. It is used to adjust the pH of products; many ingredients require a specific pH to be effective.

Citric Acid is an AHA derived from citrus fruits (think oranges, lemons, and limes!).
Phenoxyethanol is a preservative that has germicide, antimicrobial, and aromatic properties. Studies show that phenoxyethanol can prevent microbial growth. By itself, it has a scent that is similar to that of a rose.
Ethylhexylglycerin (we can't pronounce this either) is commonly used as a preservative and skin softener. It is derived from glyceryl.
Polyglyceryl-3 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone is a type of silicone.
Triethoxysilylethyl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Hexyl Dimethicone is a type of silicone.

3 Concerns
Cetearyl alcohol is a mixture of two fatty alcohols: cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. It is mainly used as an emulsifier. Emulsifiers help prevent the separation of oils and products. Due to its composition, it can also be used to thicken a product or help create foam.
Cetyl Palmitate is a wax-like substance.
Coco-Glucoside is a surfactant, or a cleansing ingredient. It is made from glucose and coconut oil.
Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is an alkyl glucoside. This just means it is creating by reacting alcohol and sugar. It is a cleansing and foaming ingredient.
Lecithin is a term for a group of substances found in plants, animals, and humans. They are made up of mixture of fatty acids. These fatty acids usually are a mixture of phosphoric acid's choline ester connected to stearic, oleic, and palmitic acids. Most lecithins are created from plant ingredients scuh as sunflower.
Bisabolol is pimarily used to add fragrance to a product. However, it is also famous for helping soothe skin.
Xanthan gum is used as a stabilizer and thickener within cosmetic products. It helps give products a sticky, thick feeling - preventing them from being too runny.
This is the synthetic salt of gluconic acid, a form of PHA and mild exfoliant.
Isostearic acid is a saturated fatty acid. Its structure makes it a great surfactant.
Polyhydroxystearic Acid is a soft wax made from castor oil.
1,2-Hexanediol is a multi-tasker ingredient. It acts as a preservative to increase shelf-life and can aid other preservatives in preventing microbe growth. 1,2-Hexanediol also helps the skin retain moisture as a humectant.
This ingredient is an emulsifier. It is created from Polyglycerin-3 and Ricinoleic Acid.
Hydroxyacetophenone is antioxidant and helps with skin conditioning.
Caprylyl Glycol is a humectant and emollient, meaning it attracts and preserves moisture.

Has a slightly odd smell, but if applied correctly (not layered immediately over other products, and only once toners and serums have dried down) it does not pill and leaves a fresh, dewy non-greasy glow. An affordable, no-nonsense mineral sunscreen, free of most allergens and irritants, great for those with sensitive skin. The sunscreen separates a bit so you must shake it before dispensing it into your hands. Unfortunately, my face still feels greasy and a bit sticky after I apply it, but I haven't yet found a sunscreen that doesn't feel this way so maybe I am just expecting too much?

Extremely greasy. Even as someone with dry skin who enjoys a glowy look, this is way too much for me. I only wore it once, and I had to use a mattifying powder to feel ok going outside. I suppose it's usable if you powder your face every time, but I don't want to have to do that.
On the positive side it is a very affordable mineral sunscreen that leaves only a very minimal white cast, while also being SPF 50. It's also vegan, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free. Too bad about the extreme grease.
