Glycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.

A study from 2016 found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid.

Hydrated skin improves your skin barrier; Your skin barrier helps protect against irritants and bacteria.

Glycerin has also been found to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Due to these properties, glycerin is often used in wound and burn treatments.

In cosmetics, glycerin is usually derived from plants such as soybean or palm. However, it can also be sourced from animals, such as tallow or animal fat.

This ingredient is organic, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic.

More drying?
It made me more dry. It's a good price point, and it works for some so I've heard, but when I used it I just felt more dry.

Light and moisturizing!
This daily moisturizer makes my skin feel so soft! It is very light and perfect for those with oily skin, and it very hydrating due to it's ceramides. After applying, it does dry fairly quickly, and may be a bit too light for those with dry skin. I recommend this for oily, combo, and balanced(normal) skin types.

Good body moisturizer
I don't use it on my face, but it is a good body moisturizer. For my dry skin. It is not as rich as the cream version, which I prefer on the winter months.
