Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract is derived from the leaves of the tea plant. Black tea, green tea, and oolong tea are all harvested from this plant.

Many components of tea have anti-inflammatory properties.
Polyphenols and L-theanine help soothe the skin and reduce irritation. The caffeine in Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract helps calm inflamed blood vessels.

Research has shown both drinking Camellia Sinensis Leaf Tea and applying it to the skin can help boost skin elasticity and hydration. Studies also show using tea extract may reduce sebum, or oil, production.

I wanted to love this but I believe citric acid is a risk for those with sensitive skin. I'm not sure why this product would contain citric acid and also gear towards sensitive skin. Overall, not a fan due to the irritation it causes. It's defiantly a nice toner otherwise for those who aren't as sensitive prone! It does clean the skin well and doesn’t leave the skin feeling dry.
Loved the smell and consistency, but I hated the design of the bottle. The lid made it hard to work with due to the consistency of the toner. My skin looked brighter after consistent use, but I ultimately decided not to repurchase due to the lid.

Loaded with soothing ingredients, this essence is a great option for anyone dealing with painful or cystic acne. It helps calm irritation, reduce inflammation, and ease overall discomfort. I’ve been using it consistently, and my acne is now almost completely gone <3
My skin used to have more acne last time. At that time I notice this essence really help to calm down my skin and make the acne go away faster. I have finished a few bottles now before I review.
