Antioxidant, Skin Conditioning

Madecassoside comes from the super popular skin-soothing ingredient, Centella asiatica. It is one of four active compounds found in the extract of Centella Asiatica.

Madecassoside has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and hydrating properties. It contains fatty acids, amino acids, beta-carotene, and phytochemicals.

One study found using Madecassoside with ascorbic acid helped reduce the signs of aging and improved skin hydration.

I got this product as a gift and I've been using it for 2 months now. Not much progress with my dark spots, but that's probably because I'm impatient lol.

I find the consistency to be a little heavy, and it may be because it is not oil-free?

Overall, it's alright. One thing though, I wouldn't recommend if you have sensitive skin because the fragrance is quite strong (plus, the oil).
