Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

This product contains pro- and pre-biotics which can be great for helping support an healthy skin microbiome. Overall the moisturizing ingredients lean heavily towards humectants, containing three different hyaluronic acid derivatives. Personally I found this to be way too irritating for Show more
Really gorgeous product with fantastic ingredients in. It’s lasted a couple of months use, once a day in the morning. So, would probably only last a month if used twice a day. I found it suitably moisturising for my combo skin during UK summer. Other gel moisturisers sometimes need another layer, but I felt this one only needed one. Farmacy's most gentle product
I first used its big sister, Green Clean, and loved it. However, Clearly Clean is superior for those with super sensitive, reactive skin. This gently cleanses, exfoliates, and removes all types of makeup just like Green Clean, but is safe for even the most sensitive skin. Very meh. I do find it takes off makeup fine, but not any better than any other generic balm or oil, and not without using a considerable amount of product. I really don’t like its consistency and feel like it kind of sits on the skin, for which reason I don’t like using it for double cleansing either.
