Butyrospermum Parkii Butter is a plant lipid from the fruit of the Shea Tree. It is an effective skin hydrator and emollient.
Emollients help soothe and soften your skin. It does this by creating a protective film on your skin. This barrier helps trap moisture and keeps your skin hydrated. Emollients may be effective at treating dry or itchy skin.
Shea butter is rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants help fight free-radicals, or molecules that may harm the body. It is also full of fatty acids including stearic acid and linoleic acid. These acids help replenish the skin and keep skin moisturized.
While Shea Butter has an SPF rating of about 3-4, it is not a sunscreen replacement.
Shea butter may not be fungal acne safe. We recommend speaking with a professional if you have any concerns.
Learn more about Butyrospermum Parkii ButterBlue tansy is a blue flower native to the Mediterranean. It has antioxidant, skin cooling, and perfuming properties.
This ingredient is currently being studied for its antifungal properties. While it does have antioxidant benefits - it may not be the best for sensitive skin (despite being advertised as so).
The cooling effect from blue tansy comes from its camphor content. Camphor is known to induce irritation in concentrations higher than 11%. It also contains another skin irritant, beta-pinene.

TL;DR: Very expensive, very hydrating and luxurious. Pungent and mildly irritating.
Not sure why this is listed as a makeup remover. It's not. It's a moisturizer/occlusive/solid facial oil.
This is May's flagship product, I think, and is the one that most people like and is also one of the most heavily promoted. I like it, and it feels super hydrating without feeling heavy, and I love the Show more
