This was hydrating, but that's where the positives end. For a "hydrating" cleanser this has THREE harsh irritating alcohols and two of them are in the first five ingredients (they're in higher concentrations than most of the other ingredients). I was upset to realize this was probably causing my breakouts. CeraVe's quality really tanked and most people who are using them probably don't realize it's causing problems for their skin.

Although if I don't apply moisturizer right away, my skin feels tight after using the cleanser. But it doesn't matter, i like this product. This cleanser helps! It repairs my skin barrier somehow!

This has a nice texture, smell and feel on the skin, but makes my feet itchy SO BAD it wakes me up at night, weird stuff. Probably ok to use once a week or so, scrub the skin when it starts to peel and otherwise use something more hydrating that doesn't contain BHA.
