Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. Talk about multi-purpose! If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

This is for people who really wanted to love the Glossier Milk Jelly cleanser but thought it didn’t work well and that they needed something with just a tiny bit more cleansing power. It’s very calming, my skin is no longer bright red after washing. I’ve been using this since it launched and it’s really very lovely - absolutely worth a try if you’re looking for a calming and non-stripping cleanser.

I got a small bottle of this to try out and instantly I knew I wouldn't like it because it feels harsh, like it'll clean *everything* even the good oils + bacteria on your skin. The second you're done washing your face with this it'll feel dry. I have oily combo skin and it's not calm or hydrating as it says.
