Octocrylene protects skin from sun damage. It absorbs UV-B with peak absorption of 304 nm. It is a common sunscreen ingredient and often paired with avobenzone, a UVA filter. This is because octocrylene stabilizes other sunscreen ingredients by protecting them from degradation when exposed to sunlight. Octocrylene is a photostable ingredient and loses about 10% of SPF in 95 minutes.
Ethylhexyl Triazone is a modern chemical sunscreen that protects from UV-B radiation.
Caprylic Acid is a fatty acid commonly found in plant oils, such as palm and coconut oils.
Glycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.
Phenoxyethanol is a preservative that has germicide, antimicrobial, and aromatic properties. Studies show that phenoxyethanol can prevent microbial growth. By itself, it has a scent that is similar to that of a rose.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate is made up of Benzoic Acid and long chain alcohols. It has a low molecular weight.

Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol (Tinosorb M) is a hybrid and broad-spectrum UV ingredient. It is both a UV absorber and filter.
Diisopropyl Adipate comes from isopropyl alcohol and Adipic Acid.
Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylate/Tetracaprate is a mixture of pentaerythritol, caprylic and capric acid.
Dicaprylyl Carbonate comes from carbonic acid and caprylyl alcohol, a fatty alcohol. It is an emollient and gives skin a velvet feel. The sources of Dicaprylyl Carbonate may be synthetic or from animals.

Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate is a synthetic powder used as an absorbent, thickener, and anti-caking agent.

Avena Sativa Bran is created from oatmeal. Bran is the outer shell of oatmeal.

Avobenzone is globally approved and is the most commonly used UV-A filter in the world.
Studies have found that avobenzone becomes ineffective when exposed to UV light (it is not photostable; meaning that it breaks down in sunlight). Because of this, formulations that include avobenzone will usually contain stabilizers such as octocrylene.
However, some modern formulations (looking at you, EU!) are able to stabilize avobenzone by coating the molecules.
Avobenzone does not protect against the UV-B range, so it's important to check that the sunscreen you're using contains other UV filters that do!
The highest concentration of avobenzone permitted is 3% in the US, and 5% in the EU.

Their SPF 50 Fragrance-free Face Sunscreen Lotion was too thick and gloopy yet was too uncomfortable to apply. But when I decided to switch to this product, it was the best decision of my life….
This product has excellent consistency yet the texture is unbelievably creamy. The application is comfortably and easy with NO creases! I haven’t gotten any sunburns ever since I turned to this product. It gives me extra protection! The colours aren’t faded + the packaging is TO DIE FOR - It even is compatible with young skin.
