Masking, Skin Conditioning

Carthamus tinctorius seed oil comes from safflower, one of humanity's oldest crops.

Safflower seed oil contains a high percentage of linoleic acid and oleic acid. It also contains Vitamin E. These three components are effective moisturizers.

Vitamin E helps nourish your skin's lipid barrier. It is also a potent antioxidant. Antioxidants help fight free-radical molecules, or unstable molecules that may damage your skin cells.

Due to its high fatty acid content, this ingredient may not be malassezia folliculitis safe.

Thoughout history, safflower has been used for dying fabrics and in food as a saffron substitute.

I personally think this cleanser ticks all the things I want in a cleanser. It has a thick, rich, gel texture that has a lot of slip to it, and it feels so so nice on the skin. Despite the thicker consistency, it rinses off really easily without leaving my skin feeling greasy and gross. It doesn’t strip or dry out my skin and is enough for a single cleanse!

Best cleansing balm e v e r. The texture is to die for, soft and fluffy, comes out of the bottle easy and spreads on your face easier. The scent is not overbearing, reminds me a bit of a fruit cake.
No residue after washing it off and it makes the skin super soft. ♥️ HG for sure.
