Euphorbia Cerifera wax comes from a shrub in Northern Mexico. It is used to stabilize formulations and has emollient properties.
Emollients form a thin layer on top of skin to prevent water from evaporating, keeping skin and lips hydrated.
According to a manufacturer, this wax can range from a yellow/brown color to translucent.

Lovely cruelty free and vegan papaya (pawpaw) overnight lip mask with peptides and 99% natural ingredients! Berkley scientists found out, that if lipstick is used on average twice daily, the lipstick user ingests about 24 milligrams of product a day, which means about 1/16 of a pound per year. Be mindful with putting toxins and chemicals on your lips. You wouldn't put them on your food, would you?
Not for me. I found it to be quite inelegant and didn’t do much.
