Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil is the oil expressed from the seeds of the Marula plant. In South Africa, Marula is called "an elephant's favorite treat".
Marula seed oil is a non-fragrant oil. It is rich in fatty acids, such as oleic, linoleic, palmitic, stearic, and more. These fatty acids help hydrate the skin.
Other components of marula seed oil include vitamin E and antioxidants such as flavonoids.
Antioxidants may help reduce the signs of aging. This is because they help fight free-radical molecules. If left unchecked, free-radical molecules may damage your skin cells and DNA.

i mostly used this moisturizer at night paired with my tretinoin and i found that the 2 worked well with each other. it’s a really nice almost gel-like cream texture with a light fragrance. i found it a little hard to blend while my face was still damp which is when i usually apply moisturizer. i don’t feel like it did much for my skin but moisturize it.. lol definitely wouldn’t pay $70 for it again

My HG facial moisturizer. It makes my face feel so soft and velvety. It dries quickly, is gentle even when my face is on fire and it has a slight "chemical" smell that I tend to like. I love the pump as well. I use this when I need a good hit of luxury.

This face oil from Drunk Elephant is exorbitantly priced, currently retailing for 86 Swiss Francs, equivalent to about 100.86 USD. This pricing feels like a rip-off, especially considering that other companies offer high-quality marula oil at reasonable prices. I'm giving it one more star than I would, simply because marula oil is very beneficial and effective. At such a high cost for this product, one might expect the marula fruits to be picked by drunk elephants themselves.
