Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Tocopheryl Acetate is AKA Vitamin E. It is an antioxidant and protects your skin from free radicals. Free radicals damage the skin by breaking down collagen.
One study found using Tocopheryl Acetate with Vitamin C decreased the number of sunburned cells.
Tocopheryl Acetate is commonly found in both skincare and dietary supplements.
Learn more about Tocopheryl AcetateAscorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is a version of ascorbic acid, or pure Vitamin C.
This ingredient has many benefits including reducing wrinkles, skin soothing, dark spot fading, and fighting against free radicals.
It helps with dark spot fading by interfering with the process of skin darkening, helping to reduce hyperpigmentation. Like other forms of vitamin C, this ingredient encourages the skin to create more collagen.
As an antioxidant, it helps fight free-radicals. Free-radicals are molecules that may damage your skin cells.
One study found Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate to degrade in sunlight, but is stabilized when combined with acetyl zingerone.

Really wanted to love this as I was looking for a mineral sunscreen for my super sensitive skin but this feels really gritty most of the time and I feel like it dries my skin out, specially around my eyes. If you apply the recommended amount it sinks into every line and doesn't look too good even with makeup on top.
Will still wear it on beach/pool days as it is very waterproof and fine for Show more

Decent feeling on the face, like there's nothing on it. But it gives me a really bad rash around my nose and eyebrows/forehead when I use it. It leaves my skin red, with red pimples, itchy and dry, and then the skin peels off in those areas like crazy :(
This cream sits on top of my skin and does not get absorbed (I have normal/dry acne prone skin) giving a greasy feel all day, and I'm pretty sure it breaks me out.
However it does not give a white cast and has vitamin C, which is a plus and the price is okay. But I will not purchase this again.
