Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Skin Conditioning, Solvent

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

Humectant, Skin Conditioning

Sodium Hyaluronate is hyaluronic acid's salt form. It is commonly derived from the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid.

Like hyaluronic acid, it is great at holding water and acts as a humectant. This makes it a great skin hydrating ingredient.

Sodium Hyaluronate is naturally occurring in our bodies and is mostly found in eye fluid and joints.

TL;DR: Barrier repair and sensitive skin holy grail! 🏆 Expensive, but worth the price!

Slurp does it again! I use this serum/toner whenever my skin barrier is compromised and/or my skin is oversensitive from all the prescription topicals I'm on. This is the shining star in my stripped down recovery routine, and I've gone through 3-4 bottles of it so far.

UPDATE: breaks me out if I don’t take it with some kind of anti acne serum or similar exactly on my T Zone. So I don’t recommend it for oily skin type. But overall still healed my skin barrier very fast so for that purpose I remove only one star.

Couldn’t decide to give it 4 or 5 stars. Basically because the only thing that bothers me is the price.
