These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterGlycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.
A study from 2016 found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid.
As a humectant, it helps the skin stay hydrated by pulling moisture to your skin. The low molecular weight of glycerin allows it to pull moisture into the deeper layers of your skin.
Hydrated skin improves your skin barrier; Your skin barrier helps protect against irritants and bacteria.
Glycerin has also been found to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Due to these properties, glycerin is often used in wound and burn treatments.
In cosmetics, glycerin is usually derived from plants such as soybean or palm. However, it can also be sourced from animals, such as tallow or animal fat.
This ingredient is organic, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic.
Glycerin is the name for this ingredient in American English. British English uses Glycerol/Glycerine.
Learn more about GlycerinMyristyl Alcohol is type of fatty alcohol. It is a white, waxy solid and insoluble in water.

TL;DR: One of my holy grail sunscreens; it will give you a glow! If you are acne-prone, there is an adjustment period. Probably best to avoid if you have fungal acne.
I can't remember how I decided to try this; I think it was after my success with Slurp's Preparation B5 because it contains similar ingredients. Anyhow, you can find this in most pharmacies, and it's not expensive for the amount Show more
Very similar to the non uv version, and it applies just as easily. I really like how moisturizing and relieving it feels. I wish it had the same uv filters as the european lrp products or asian sunscreens though. If it did, this would be holy grail status

So, I've been trying to heal my skin from using too many actives, and I tried this 8 indregient moisturizer since I know Avene is very recommended for sensitive skin.
As a combo/oily skin gal in a country (France) where they all have dry skin, its hard to find lightweight moisturizers; but this might be the epitome of a lightweight moisturizer that won't clog my pores.
The texture is very Show more
When applied on barrier-damaged areas the skin turned red and tingling a bit for some seconds. Lightweight but the hydration doesn't last very long, need to reapply often in dry countries. Haven't try the balm version for dry skin yet. Some ingredient may trigger reaction when applied on sensitive state skin.
