Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Skin Conditioning

Caprylyl Methicone is a type of silicone.

It helps soften and soothe the skin by creating a thin film on top. This film helps trap moisture, keeping your skin hydrated.

We don't have a description for Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate yet.

Masking, Skin Conditioning

This ingredient is an emollient, solvent, and texture enhancer. It is considered a skin-softener by helping the skin prevent moisture loss.

It helps thicken a product's formula and makes it easier to spread by dissolving clumping compounds.

Caprylic Triglyceride is made by combining glycerin with coconut oil, forming a clear liquid.

While there is an assumption Caprylic Triglyceride can clog pores due to it being derived from coconut oil, there is no research supporting this.

I've been firmly in the "I'm not spending that much on sunscreen" camp, but I had to face the music that getting cheaper sunscreens that didn't feel or look very good was only making me more likely to skip it altogether. It's very shiny but it is the best combination of feeling good, looking good, and working well that I've every experienced in a sunscreen. It hasn't caused any irritation issues Show more

ack! horrible white cast.
i'm brown so that probably has something to do with it.
i spent 40 something bones on this so I just use on my body now. really don't see the hype on this one.
neither broke me out nor gave me some undiscovered venereal disease, so I'll give it that.

Takes a while to settle into the skin. Leaves slight white cast too. But I haven’t found another sunscreen better than this. Great protection and doesn’t break me out

I used it two times on my face. I got acne all over my face. It is too thick for me.
