Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Glycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.
A study from 2016 found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid.
As a humectant, it helps the skin stay hydrated by pulling moisture to your skin. The low molecular weight of glycerin allows it to pull moisture into the deeper layers of your skin.
Hydrated skin improves your skin barrier; Your skin barrier helps protect against irritants and bacteria.
Glycerin has also been found to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Due to these properties, glycerin is often used in wound and burn treatments.
In cosmetics, glycerin is usually derived from plants such as soybean or palm. However, it can also be sourced from animals, such as tallow or animal fat.
This ingredient is organic, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic.
Glycerin is the name for this ingredient in American English. British English uses Glycerol/Glycerine.

I don't understand this product.
After doing skincare for over a decade, I've tried hundreds of products (yes, my wallet isn't happy). This product was one of the worst out of these hundreds. Most products I've tried are alright. This one was truly not good. It has a strong scent, didn't absorb, and just didn't do anything positive for my skin at all. I gave it 2 weeks and stopped when I started Show more
First toner I actually saw a difference with my skin over time. It helped with my larger pores and light texture. Definitely recommend for oily & combination skin. Its a great option to add some exfoliation in your routine while staying really hydrating from the texture of the product + it smells great! It really surprised m. I am at my 3rd bottle

Great value but won't be buying it again
I've finished a bottle for probably a course of 6 months (?), and personally, I'm not going to buy it again. I noticed that it takes too much time to absorb into my skin. While I'd usually appreciate this since I do stuff while waiting for it to absorb, I found that it would just run down my face. And while it didn't break me out, it may have caused my Show more
I received a bottle as a test. It smells nice and the texture reminds me a bit of tirtir toner - milky and sticky, yet lighter (which I personally prefer).
Note though that this toner is slightly alkaline (ph 6.5). That means, it’s not one for “active” routines but pure restoration of skin barrier. So you should use only soothing products after that, otherwise you might risk irritation or Show more
