(Tried May 2023) Another retinoid in The Ordinary's lineup that I enjoyed using. As far as efficacy, it's the strongest of the three formulations. This is what I upgraded to after using The Ordinary's Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion. I experienced no irritation with this product despite it's strength and I liked how radiant my skin felt the next morning. Very affordable for the amount and how long Show more

It was easy to use for beginners like me, and I immediately noticed the difference. My skincare routine will continue to include retinoids.
Considering how gentle this is, I plan on increasing the concentration of retinoids. Eventually I hope to switch to adapalene until I can use retinoic acid.
I didn’t smell the fragrance (which is a good thing) but my skin was irritated by it. I use other retinol serums without any issues so it’s not retinol itself. Beware, use it only as stand alone from that product line. All of their products contain ingredients that cause irritation. After two weeks of creams and serums of their line my skin felt like burning, it was red and felt like leather.
