Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterGlycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.
A study from 2016 found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid.
As a humectant, it helps the skin stay hydrated by pulling moisture to your skin. The low molecular weight of glycerin allows it to pull moisture into the deeper layers of your skin.
Hydrated skin improves your skin barrier; Your skin barrier helps protect against irritants and bacteria.
Glycerin has also been found to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Due to these properties, glycerin is often used in wound and burn treatments.
In cosmetics, glycerin is usually derived from plants such as soybean or palm. However, it can also be sourced from animals, such as tallow or animal fat.
This ingredient is organic, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic.

I feel that this is one of those products that is advertised to be convenient, but didn't really seem that way to me. I found that even though the mask was easy to apply with the stick, it was still somewhat difficult to rise off (took about 4-5 rinses to remove it completely). So you'd probably have a better time with it in the shower. It also gets messy while you’re applying as the clay starts Show more
Ooop this worked so well for me. The ease of application was amazing and it didn’t dry me out which I did expect (I have dry sensitive and rosacea prone skin). I wanted to remove some sebaceous filaments from my nose. I took a before (top and after double cleanse) and after picture and it totally worked. I didn’t steam my pores to open them I simply just double cleansed my face and went in with Show more

Didn’t know that it wasn’t only a toner but a treatment so started using everyday until I found out. So I found the reason why I haven’t been seeing results and getting more breakouts. Definitely recommend using in the morning but try using it every other day to every three days depending on your skin condition.
1000/10 MY HOLY GRAIL.
My skin is a nightmare. Like, anything and everything usually sets it off so these were heaven sent.
During my breakouts, I just grab one of these pads and let it sit on my face like a mask and it helps calm my skin down by A LOT. My skin is very oily so the fact that these don’t make me get even more oily is such a huge plus.
I’ve tried other toner pads but none Show more
