i really loved this sunscreen at first. it is moisturizing, blends in well and it doesn’t give me a white cast.
however, i have some problems with this product. firstly, it stings my eyes painfully, even when i try to avoid applying it in that area. there is also some pilling that can occur, especially when another product also containing dimethicone is applied to the skin.
overall, while this certainly isn’t the worst sunscreen i’ve tried, i won’t be repurchasing after i run out.

I keep coming back to this
This was actually the first sunscreen I bought when I started to get into skincare and despite finding other sunscreens I also enjoy over the years, I really hit gold with this one. This has a very faint sunscreen smell that disappears after application and leaves the skin looking hydrated. It never burns my skin but instead it actually evens out/brightens my complexion slightly. That’s because this is a hybrid sunscreen as it contains both mineral and chemical UV filters. Keep this in mind because despite this being marketed as “clear” it will probably leave a slight cast on dark and deep skin tones (in my experience, J-beauty products like this are made and marketed for the Japanese market. That’s why this is labeled “clear” and you will find there is usually very little english on Japanese products. Just something to keep in mind when shopping J-beauty)
I’ve had a few instances where I struggled with this sunscreen pilling, however I quickly realized that it was caused by my impatience. As long as I let whatever previous skincare I may have applied earlier sit and absorb for a minute, this will not pill.
