Tocopherol (also known as Vitamin E) is a common antioxidant used to help protect the skin from free-radicals and strengthen the skin barrier. It's also fat soluble - this means our skin is great at absorbing it.
Vitamin E also helps keep your natural skin lipids healthy. Your lipid skin barrier naturally consists of lipids, ceramides, and fatty acids. Vitamin E offers extra protection for your skin’s lipid barrier, keeping your skin healthy and nourished.
Another benefit is a bit of UV protection. Vitamin E helps reduce the damage caused by UVB rays. (It should not replace your sunscreen). Combining it with Vitamin C can decrease sunburned cells and hyperpigmentation after UV exposure.
You might have noticed Vitamin E + C often paired together. This is because it is great at stabilizing Vitamin C. Using the two together helps increase the effectiveness of both ingredients.
There are often claims that Vitamin E can reduce/prevent scarring, but these claims haven't been confirmed by scientific research.

Great for double cleansing, but maybe not the best makeup remover.
I bought this cleanser about 6 months ago, and it's been great! I use it almost every night before my water based cleanser and it hasn't ran out yet. The culprit of my first allergic reaction on my face... white tiny bumps all over my face for days and it was itchy. i did a patch test after like a dummy and found out. very disappointed bc i wanted to start double cleansing!

I thought I was using it wrong because I wasn't seeing the gritty pieces that people were showing on social media with cleansing oils, but sure enough, my pores look cleaner and less noticeable after just 3 nights! I actually found this cleansing oil to be very refreshing! The scent wasn't overwhelming and quite pleasant. I thought it did a thorough job w/ removing makeup and sunscreen. It was also fairly easy to rinse off with water. This product is a great value for the amount that you receive. I bought this bottle back in July and I'm just now getting through it. This is another win with Round Lab for me!
