Very aggressive but very effective (Not as aggressive as the Clindoxyl). Benzoyl peroxide is no joke! I have used on my back acne and on the hormonal acne on my face, both worked perfectly. But never forget the moisturizer! Always follow the instructions written on the box and you will have no problems.

This was hydrating, but that's where the positives end. For a "hydrating" cleanser this has THREE harsh irritating alcohols and two of them are in the first five ingredients (they're in higher concentrations than most of the other ingredients). I was upset to realize this was probably causing my breakouts. CeraVe's quality really tanked and most people who are using them probably don't realize it's causing problems for their skin.

Although if I don't apply moisturizer right away, my skin feels tight after using the cleanser. But it doesn't matter, i like this product. This cleanser helps! It repairs my skin barrier somehow!
