Masking, Skin Conditioning

This ingredient is an emollient, solvent, and texture enhancer. It is considered a skin-softener by helping the skin prevent moisture loss.

It helps thicken a product's formula and makes it easier to spread by dissolving clumping compounds.

Caprylic Triglyceride is made by combining glycerin with coconut oil, forming a clear liquid.

While there is an assumption Caprylic Triglyceride can clog pores due to it being derived from coconut oil, there is no research supporting this.

This made me break out badly (like literally everywhere - forehead, cheeks, around my mouth …) I thought first it might be purging but those bumps looked anything like that. After 2 weeks I changed to another brand (mind me - it’s almost double to this retinol dosage!) and literally 2 days later it all stopped and another day later it started started to improve.
It’s very very oily and runny. I Show more

It’s a great value but it’s definitely like rubbing pure oil on your face, squalane breaks me out apparently.

I don’t like the feeling of oil on my face, it’s just too much for me.

Just a great value for such a solid product. Retinal is so much more effective than retinol so I'm glad this is the star ingredient. It feels really gentle around my eyes and for the price, I can easily use it on my entire face, neck, and chest as well.
