Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterCitric Acid is an AHA derived from citrus fruits (think oranges, lemons, and limes!).
As an AHA, Citric Acid removes the top layer of skin cells from the newer layer of skin underneath. This helps skin to remove dark spots and even out skin tone.
If you spot Citric Acid near the end of an ingredient list, it's likely there as a pH adjuster rather than an active ingredient.

Learn more about Citric AcidTrisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate is used to help stabilize a product.
It is a chelating agent, meaning it helps prevent metal ions from binding to other ingredients. This prevents unwanted reactions in products. Metal ions can come into a product via the water ingredient. They are found in trace amounts and are not known to be harmful.

I've been using this product since January and I have to say I absolutely love this for my hyperpigmented areas and body acne! I've gotten to the point where I've been able to tolerate this for daily use. After I shower I have been applying this on my knees, elbows and chest and allow it some time to dry down before applying the Glycolic moisturizer from Naturium. After having clear skin for about six months, using this product for just three days in a row caused me 5–6 stubborn acnes which based on my skin type they’re probably going to leave dark spots that’ll take forever to fade. It also feels sticky on the skin and doesn’t absorb well.
Soothes my skin without any irritation or redness
