This ingredient is usually derived from plant oils such as palm, vegetable, or coconut oils. There is debate on whether this ingredient will cause acne.
Due to the fatty acid base, this ingredient may not be Malassezia folliculitis safe.

Nivea Moisturising Night Cream 20 ingredients
It helped me add more moisture on top of my moisturiser, which left my skin feeling dry in the evenings. But it was interacting with other products/making my skin more sensitive and I think it might have been contributing to my clogged pores, so I stopped using it. Didn't feel like a very high-quality product either, and was quite oily.
Made my skin really oily throughout the night.
