The source of squalane may impact malassezia / fungal acne. This is because olive oil derived squalane can contain impurities such as fatty acids and plant waxes. Sugarcane derived squalane is recommended for anyone with malassezia concerns.

This depends on the source. Squalane can be derived from both plants and animals. Most squalane used in skincare comes from plants.

You’re not going to see any results beyond more hydrated eyes lol… it did not eliminate my eye circles like the lady on Reddit told me it did :( , but if you’re really rich and don’t care, get it because it’s a solid eye moisturizer without irritating or unnecessary ingredients !
